Hello! My name is Ben Kartz and I am owner/operator of Kartz’s Universal Commodities. In 2021 I decided to make my love for collecting, nature, and history my full-time pursuit. I transitioned from the corporate structured businesses to a small mom and pop shop call Burnies Rock Shop in Madison, Wisconsin. We’ve been in business for over 60 years. My specialties in the rock world consists of, but not limited to agates, jaspers, and meteorites. I’m also a sucker for a cool mineral specimen, or sparkly faceted gem.
