Martian Meteorite

Incredible slice of our neighboring planet mars! This thin but sturdy slice provides great surface area and displays well for the gram weight. At 2.07 grams this packs a punch. It’s largest dimension is roughly 1.25 inches. Classified as NWA 13187 it falls into the achondrite group as a Martian Shergottite. Includes riker mount display (5.5” by 4.5” in a round 1.75 inch gem jar.) Only 1600 grams ever found. Acquired from M. Lyon, the listed owner in the Meteorite Bulletin.
